OUR HISTORY
Gannet was founded by Jacques Venter. 1997: Jacques won the best industrial design award (Africa) 3D modeling and design on Majuba power station. 1998: Jacques developed a new type of electric arc furnace electrode pressure ring. This one for 1,2m electrodes installed on 2 x 36MVA FeCr smelters. 2005: Jacques developed a new arc furnace slipping device and oversaw over 20 international installed projects around the world. 2005: Jacques developed this 1,75m arc furnace lower electrode three granted international patents where awarded. Here are some of Jacques most successful patents (he has about 45 of them) this includes the ones sold and now owned by others.
